After the overall victory on 2018, also this year Mauro and Roberta get on the highest step of the podium after a very hard race and won it only at the last special stage.

Starting on Friday form Vicenza at 23.30 for the Torreselle qualifying, due to thousand of spectators the special stages start after midnight. Shaky start for Argenti which obtain a 9th position overall.

The race restarts on Saturday morning for the long 300-kilometer with eight special stage. The Bolognese couple, always seconded by their Porsche, perfectly prepared by Autorlando of Pedrengo, start a constant comeback that sees them move to third absolute position until the third special stage. Then go down to fifth and go up to the second absolute at the start of the last and decisive test of Santa Caterina, which takes place in the light of the headlights starting at 21. Here, with an impeccable performance, but also favored by some mistake by those who preceded them, Mauro and Roberta obtain the first position which they naturally preserve until upon arrival at Isola Vicentina, to take the deserved applause.

Conquering the lead of the race when only one test was missing at the end was now a dream: once again, however, Mauro was right, whose belief in the race is to never give up, even when the games already seem to have been made. These are his words on the arrival stage: “Winning Campagnolo, one of the toughest sports regularity races, is very difficult: repeating one year after the absolute success is something really special”.

 

Sunday 02nd of June, on the walls of Città Alta, will took place the 14th edition of the Bergamo Historic Grand Prix, a historical re-enactment of the Bergamo GP which saw the participation of Redolfi Orlando at the wheel of his Porsche 911 sc GR. 4.

Departure from Piazza della Cittadella for the 80 registered cars at this edition at 2.00 pm to then cross the finish line at 6.00 pm.
