Vallelunga will be this weekend the theater of the first race of the Italian GT Championship SPRINT where on the 4085m of the track the two Caymans lined up by the Autorlando-Sport will find new adversaries compared to the previous Endurance appointment of Monza. The Pedrengo team after the excellent debut on the Monza track where obtained a second place (#276 Ghezzi-Chiesa-Ruberti) and the fourth placement with the twin car (# 275 Cerati-Bravetti-Fondi) mixes the crews a little while and at the driving of the car #275 put the couple Cerati-Chiesa, while on the car # 276 Ghezzi will be joined by Camathias, on his return after the last appearance in 2015 with the 997 GT3 R paired with Calamia.
In a weekend where once again the threat of rain seems to be able to characterize the session, as it had been at Monza, it will once again be the skills of the drivers, the preparation of the teams and their mechanics who will have to solve strange situations that they can then prove decisive for the results, without forgetting the contribution given by the cars. The Caymans have shown that they know how to be fast, easy to take to the limit and effective allowing the crews who got off at Monza to make their debut excellently and where there was only one victory that can be felt in the air.
The weekend program includes two hours of free practice on Friday, at 11.15 and 16.05 in the afternoon, while the two qualifying sessions will be held on Saturday at 08.30 and 09.05. The races are scheduled one Saturday, 13.50 while the second will be on Sunday at 1:40 pm with live TV on the Rai Sport channel.
