The penultimate round of Coppa Italia and 3H Endurance has come to an end at Imola with many podiums for Autorlando Sport drivers.
Luciano Tarabini gains a pole position during the qualifying on Saturday morning and maintains the first place during Race 1 with a race pace of 1’45. 1° place overall and 1° place in class. Race 2 is a photocopy of Race 1, 1° place overall and 1° place in class.
Now Tarabini is in 2nd place in the standing with 46 points, only 11 points behind the leader Ramelli.
The second Porsche 997 GT4 in Coppa Italia is driven by Alessandro Nervi, which after familiarized with car and track gains a 9th place overall and 1st place in class during the qualifying. With a good race pace in Race 1, Alessandro ends the race in 9th place overall and 1st in class. In Race 2, the young driver, improves his time lap after lap ending in 8th place overall and 1 st in class.
Final battle for Coppa Italia GT Champion at Adria on October 29th.
In the 3H Endurance Champions Cup, Giacomo, Matteo and Paolo increase their performance on Porsche 997 GT3 R during the qualifying on Friday afternoon gaining the 6th place overall and 1st in class.
Matteo starts the 3H Endurance Cup but, after 5 laps, safety car was in race track and Team decides not to pit the car.
Disappointed choice by drivers considering also the fact that few laps before the end, the rivals had the luck to make the 5 minutes of compulsory pit during safety car periods.
Despite the great progress demonstrated by the team and by the drivers, leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth for this second place.
In overall standing the Bossini Family are in 3rd position with 71 points behind Gedik/Germili/Mutlubas and Zumstein/Zumstein (standing leader).
Final battle during the 6h of Vallelunga on November 11th.
