The 4th Special Rally Circuit by Vedovati Corse on the Monza circuit in Brianza, known as the temple of speed on the track but which, thanks to the skill and competence of the organizers, was able to welcome the “world of rally” for two days full of technical content with more than sixty cars entered.
Autorlando-sport at the start with the Porsche 911 3.0 SC “Vezza” in the white-yellow colors driven by Manuele Mengozzi navigated by Erica Bombardini which exploit the free practice and the shakedown on Saturday to become familiar with the modified track with artificial variants throughout the track and made even more complicated due to bad weather.
Right at the end of the shakedown the Team notices a problem that with an intense work until late in the evening allows to the car “201” at the start of the first P.S. scheduled for Sunday morning.
In split seconds, Mengozzi – Bombardini wins the first two special stages, the Vedovati and the Special Vedovati, respectively of 23.4 Km and 17.3 Km, in a day inexorably marked by bad weather with sometimes intense rain.
At the start of the P.S. 3, repetition of the Vedovati, the crew wins the P.S and repeats also the P.S. 4 in a growing improvement on the chrono, making the en plein and dominating this rally from beginning to end.
Honor to the crew and to the Team for having masterly made available a fast and reliable car after the problem of the previous day.
