The 47° edition of “Trofeo Vallecamonica” ends with a tragedy on Saturday morning during the first official practice reconnaissance due to a car, which run off the road and go off the cliff. The car, before to go off the cliff, has hit two safety marshals by killing one.
Unfortunately, Mauro Firmo from Castenedolo is died despite an immediate intervention of rescue and the helicopter rescue. The clerk of the course in agreement with Prefecture have decided to cancel the race as a sign of mourning.
