Third round for the Targa Tricolore Porsche Championship in Misano. In a spectacular night race, the Team Autorlando Sport with the drivers Camathias, Ghezzi and Calamia, gained the third victory consecutive, placing in a second position in the overall standing.
Excellent impression on the 911 GT3 R in the free practice, confirmed by the pole position in 1’35.8.
The author of the pole position, Joel Camathias, starts the race and after 33 laps in the lead, leaves the car to Giuseppe Ghezzi, which despite the difficulties on the track due to the night lighting, has done a very good stint. The third driver Mauro Calamia, keep in scoring very lap times, leaving the Porsche 997 R at the 76° laps again to Giuseppe Ghezzi which led the crew of the 911 GT3 R to win the third round of Targa Tricolore Porsche and 2 in the overall standing
In the same week end in Misano Autorlando Sport attended to the italian hystoric Championship with the Porsche 924 Turbo driven by Dario Cerati and Giuseppe Ghezzi.
Despite 38 cars lined up on the starting grid, the Porsche 924 Turbo found itself immediately at ease at the circuit. The crew starts the race on Sunday afternoon, from the 22th position, with frequent succession of rain. With a series of overtaking and very good times the couple Cerati-Ghezzi ended the race in 11th place overall.
Next round of the Targa Tricolore Porsche and Autostoriche Championship at Mugello Circuit on September the 6th.
