Season debut in Italy for Autorlando Sport with Porsche 997 GT3 version GT4 with the couple Dario Cerati and Maurizio Fondi in the Italian GT Championship at Mugello circuit.

Friday due to the rain the drivers HAVE lost the free practice and so it’s difficult the choice for the optimal balance of the car. Cerati and Fondi needed to take advantage of the few minutes of the two qualifying sessions on Saturday morning to become familiar with the circuit and give the right information to the engineers to optimize the performance on the demanding Tuscan track.
25 total cars in classes SuperGT, Cup, GT Cup, GT4 and Cayman Cup, Cerati gains the 22° position and Fondi the 24° position.

Start for Cerati in Race 1 on Saturday afternoon, which with conviction and stubbornness regains the two lost positions at the start. Safety car during the driver change, occasion used optimally by the team that puts on the track Fondi in 17° overall position. Autorlando Sport drivers end in second position in GT4 class and second in the virtual podium including the Cayman Cup.

Start for Fondi in Race 2 on Sunday at lunchtime, which with regular times delivers the car to Cerati at half to the race, ending 1° in class GT4 and 3rd on the virtual podium with the Cayman.

Autorlando Sports opens the doors to a new GT4 category that has already taken root in Europe and it is hoped that also the Italian market facing at this new and interesting category.

Next challenge for Cerati will be at Vallelunga on 11/9/2016 with a partner yet to be determined.
