The summer has not yet left center of Italy and in the warm weekend of Vallelunga just ended Alessandro Nervi, Max Pigoli and Autorlando-Sport were protagonists in the SuperCUP trophy during the ACI Racing Week-end that saw not only the cars brought to the track by the organizer Giordano Giovannini but also the Italian GT championship, the Porsche Carrera Cup, the F2000 trophy, the Mini Challenge trophy.

The weekend was very important because for this round, the score would have been double and it was clear to expect from all the drivers hard battles to gain position during all sessions. The two drivers of the Autorlando-Sport, A. Nervi (# 35) and Max Pigoli (# 34) presented themselves at the top of their respective rankings with the latter currently also first in the overall classification.

Friday qualifications immediately reserve joys for both drivers who conquer the respective class pole in front of their opponents with Pigoli who is also imposed in the absolute conquering of pole position.

On Saturday in the early afternoon, at 3:20 pm, race 1 see Pigoli who on the second lap, maintains the second place until the end of the race. Alessandro started sixth and finishes seventh behind the class leader Cagliani. Despite the various attempts to overtake, Alessandro has to “settle” for the second place in the class.

Totally different the two race finale of Sunday morning, 09.45, with Max Pigoli who starts from pole position and holds the lead of the race for all 25 minutes and Alessandro Nervi protagonist of a comeback from the 6th place up to the third overall . Victory of class and absolute for Pigoli, 3rd place overall and class victory for Nervi that can thus lengthen in the standings on direct opponents thanks to the double score.

A very positive week-end for Autorlando-Sport that with the podiums and the absolute and class victories is confirmed a solid reality and able to offer its drivers fast and effective cars. Also worthy of note is the progress made by Alessandro for the whole weekend as he was at the official debut on the Roman track.

Next appointment will see the protagonists play “at home” in Monza on 5-6-7 October, always in the ACI Racing Week-end.
