Great weekend for Autorlando Sport and Maurizio Fondi, which come back to Rome, after the race in Vallelunga, with two-pole position and two victories. On the Roman circuit of Vallelunga took place the 911 Race Cup Championship by Gruppo Peroni Race where Maurizio Possumato should have attend.
Unfortunately, on Friday evening Autorlando Sport is forced to a driver change at the last minute so Maurizio Fondi takes the place to Maurizio Possumato.
Saturday afternoon, Maurizio Fondi obtains the pole position of 911 Race Cup without have done the free practices with a time of 1’38”1. Congratulations for the prompt adaption at the track.
During Race 1 on Sunday at 11.00, Maurizio Fondi wins also thanks to a beautiful start from the first place, ending with 12” lead on De Bellis (second position).
Same result in Race 2 on Sunday at 18.00, Fondi on the highest step of the podium.
Congratulations to the Team and drivers for the excellent results obtained in this unexpected weekend where Team reconfirms its Porsche GT3 R as the queen of the GT category.
