Excellent weekend for the Autorlando sport team
In Imola on the occasion of the third round of the Italian GT sprint championship in the 275 Porsche Cayman in race 1 on Saturday evening at 18.00 Cerati starts and stops on lap 13 to give way to Ghezzi. Cerati struggled at the start and found himself at the rear of the group, ending up spinning on the second lap. The Cerati-Ghezzi crew finished in 3rd position in class AM.
In 274 Giovannelli got off to a good start and gained two positions, then established a good pace, which allowed him to stay close, unfortunately on lap eight he spun at the Tosa and was unable to return to the previous pace of 1:54. Upon returning to the pits for the driver change, the broken front mustache is noticed, but this is not a problem that prevents us from continuing the race. Fondi sets his best time on the first lap of the stint, then stabilizes. When the safety car enters, he does not have the opportunity to catch up with the other GT4s as he loses the lap having just been lapped by the leaders. The Fondi-Giovannelli crew finished in 4th position in the AM class.
In race 2 on Sunday at 3.00 pm Ghezzi starts and immediately takes the lead in the GT4 group, holding the position for a couple of laps. Cerati continues to push and maintains his position thanks to an FCY that freezes the last two laps of the race. The Cerati-Ghezzi crew finished in 1st position in class AM.
While on the cayman 718 nr 274 Fondi starts and manages to set a good pace, until the fourth lap in which he spins. On the way back, he struggles a bit and settles on a 1:57 high pace. At the beginning of the driver change window he leaves the car to Giovannelli, who tries to progressively improve his pace. The Fondi-Giovannelli crew finished in 3rd position in the AM class.

In Turin, Fratti and Verna, after adapting the set-up for Rubiana’s shake down shake down, take Autorlando sport’s Porsche RGt to the top of the class and group rankings, winning all 6 special stages.
