The 2018 championship formula remains confirmed.
Two single races lasting between 25 minutes, with the possibility of having a single driver for both races or two drivers who can fight for both the general classification and the championship standings for race 1 or race 2.
The International GT Open was created in 2006 by former driver Jesus Pareja.
GT Sport was the organizer of the Spanish GT Championship and the F3 Championship for a decade.
This championship has achieved growing success in terms of excellence and quality of membership, interest aroused, relevance and geographical expansion.
Today the GT Open attracts a growing number of famous teams and drivers. This is probably the best championship in Europe for GT2 and GT3 cars in the Super Gt and GTS classes, with the drivers being categorized into Pro and Am.
It was the first championship to have included the time handicap (to be served during the pit stop for the driver change) and the performance level system, instead of measures affecting the car.
