Aghini and Cerrai stand out with Toyota Celica 205 GT four of Orlando, gaining the second position overall in the follow special stages of Rally Legend: 5° special LA CASA 1, 6° special LE TANE 1, 9° special LE TANE 2.
The ECU problem, immediately before the first special stage on Friday, compromised, unfortunately, the fight for the overall standing of Rally Legend Mytic.
Comment of Aghini: “For our job I have to thank Orlando and his Team which were great. As regards the ECU problems and the breakdown of the semi-axle, we were unlucky, but this are the races. Sometimes you can think, “car is old and it breaks” but also new cars break down. Occasionally it is a matter of fate, bad luck and everything else. The guys were fantastic and I have immediately felt comfortable. I hope I have let something positive and I hope in future races or events with Autorlando.”
Comment of Vito Piarulli: “I can say “monumental undertaking” but rewarded by a great success of this edition thank also to Orlando and his Team, friends of Rally Legend, who once again have not been prayed to be part of this event.”
In the Co-Driver Experience, was excellent also the presence of the second Toyota Celica 205 GT four of Orlando Redolfi with the TTE original colors (7° place overall at Rally Sanremo 1994 with Juha Kankkunen and Nicky Grist, world champions rally the previous year always with Toyota Celica).
