Tarabini repeats the race at Mugello, starting first and winning the race with authority. Fondi ends in third position after a good start that allows him to keep the second position for five laps. An imperfection at the Rivazza curve allows to Valli to pass and get close to Tarabini.
Race 2 with identical grid positions, with the start on Sunday afternoon, Tarabini on pole and Fondi in 3rd position, end of the race 2 with Fondi in 2nd position in class and Tarabini slips in 5th position for a penalty.
In the overall standing, Fondi is in 3rd place with 48 points behind Mazzolini (49 points). Tarabini is in 5th place with 33 points with only 3 events.
