The 72nd edition of the Trento-Bondone uphill time trial, valid for the European and Italian mountain speed championships, took place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June 2023.

Sun and good weather made Saturday even more pleasant, where there were two free practice sessions and Sunday, race day.

Many cars (240 entries) cheered the many spectators who flocked along the 17 and over kilometers of the track, starting from Trento and arriving in Vason.

The Autorlando sport team brings 3 cars to the start plus one with the role of forerunner, driven by Fabio Babini. The champion from Faenza opened the way aboard the Porsche R-GT of the Autorlando sport team.

The Autorlando sport team fielded:

Giuseppe Ghezzi with Porsche 992 gt3 cup: authentic master of the house. The strong driver from Trentino ended the GTSCUP class in the lead both in FP1 and FP2, managing to lower his total time between the two tests by more than 5 seconds, thanks to a clean and fast driving and some car setup changes. to better adapt it to the tortuous route. He signed a 10.39.52 as his best time of the day.

Ghezzi confirms his form also on Sunday, winning the GTSCUP class classification with a time of 10.36.46; time that even raises him in 16th position overall.

Dario Cerati with Porsche 997 gt4. A driver associated with the Autorlando sport colors for a long time, he finished in 5th position in the GTCUP class. He too was able to lower his time by almost 11 seconds between PL1 and PL2, signing a 12.40.53 as his best time on Saturday.

Cerati closed Sunday’s time trial improving further. The driver from Turin stopped the clock at 12.30.29, confirming himself as 5th in class and 107th overall.

Rino Lunelli with Porsche 997 gt4. World premiere with the Autorlando Sport team for the local driver, one of the most sought after and appreciated in the Trento-Bondone paddock. A decidedly positive debut for Rino, able to finish in P4 in the GTCUP category, improving by a good 7 seconds between PL1 and PL2.

Lunelli made use of what he learned during the free practice sessions and the valuable advice of his team mates and the support staff of the Autorlando sport team, finishing 4th in the GTCUP class and 86th overall. He stopped the clock at 12.08.68, just 1.5 seconds off the podium in his category.
