After the success at Trento Bondone, the Autorlando sport team lined up at the Svolta dei Popoli time trial Matteo Adragna who conquered the first time in the GT SUPER CUP class and the sixth in the GT group for the first time on the Porsche 991 CT CUP
Adragna: “On Sunday 14/08 in Popoli I lived my first experience with modern cars, the Porsche I drove certainly determined what I am about to say: many of you know that I come from historic cars, for years it has been my greatest passion because I have always been an adrenaline-loving sportsman, but at a certain point I no longer felt that emotion that I felt before, that desire to have fun that pushed me to do better and better and that for a driver should never miss, for this reason the choice to try a completely different car.
Adragna: “Domenica 14/08 a Popoli ho vissuto la mia prima esperienza con le auto moderne, la Porsche che ho guidato ha sicuramente determinato quanto sto per affermare: molti di voi sanno che vengo dalle auto storiche, per anni è stata la mia più grande passione perché sono sempre stato uno sportivo amante dell’adrenalina, ma a un certo punto non sentivo più quell’emozione che provavo prima, quella voglia di divertirmi che mi spingeva a fare sempre meglio e che per un pilota non dovrebbe mai mancare, per questo la scelta di provare un auto completamente diversa.
At Popoli I rediscovered the taste of the race, I had fun thanks to the Porche I drove and the “Autorlando sport” team that followed me, a combination that for a driver must never miss, the car was performing and above all I rediscovered the taste of the race. I’m sure this was the first of a long series.”
Next appointment at the Luigi Fagioli Trophy on 26/28 August and in Monte Erice on 9/11 September.
