The Autorlando-Sport is preparing to face the third consecutive weekend of competitions deploying 4 cars in three different events: at Imola the Italian GT Championship Sprint will make its second stage after that of Vallelunga in early May where the two 718 Cayman GT4 with the crews Ghezzi-Camathias (# 276) and Cerati-Chiesa (# 275) will try to redeem themselves after the Roman races characterized by rain.
On the same track but in the context of the Supercars Series, Maurizio Fondi, too, will compete along the 4909 meters of the Santerno circuit with the 997 GT3-R, a car that the Tuscan driver really likes that did not resist the charm of a technical circuit and as spectacular as the Emilian one.
3 cars, 5 drivers, 21 corners, 4.9km of asphalt and many opponents for a weekend that will give many emotions because the track offers several overtaking possibilities and the very technical conformation of the same enhances the technical performances of the cars that will have to be best prepared by all the teams to aim for the only result for which the teams fight before the checkered flag.
The Italian GT will have as usual two free practice sessions (50min) on Friday at 10.10am and 2.10pm, qualifying (25min) Saturday morning, 09.00am and 09.35am and in the same afternoon at 1.05pm Race-1 (50min + 1lap), broadcast live TV on Raisport; it will start Sunday morning at 11.40 am Race 2 will be broadcast live on AutomotoTV (SKY 228) and delayed on Raisport at 17.50.
Even the Supercars series does not differ from its usual program with the two free practice sessions and qualifications from 25min on Friday at 09.00, 13.00 and 18.05. Race 1 (25min) will start Saturday at 2.25pm, while race 2 will start at 09.00am on Sunday morning.
The third event in which the team will be involved is the 9th Historic Wool Rally which takes place in the Biella area and which will see the Fratti-Verna crew, already present last year at the Rally Monza Vedovati, take the 10 special stages in the afternoon Saturday to Sunday for a total of 118km of special tests and 250 of transfer.
Saturday at 16.00 will start the first car and the six tests will be the “BALTIGATI”, “NOVEIS”, “BALTIGATIdue” with the second pass scheduled at 21.00 for the PS4, which will take place in the evening, while the 1st stage closes at 23.30 hours for which it is expected the arrival of the first car at the assistance park located in the “Gli Orsi” shopping center.
Sunday the tests will be 4, “VALDENGO” and “CAMPORE” also repeated with the closing of the event at 2.00 pm with the arrival of the first car.
A return to the rally after about 6 months for Maurizio and Alessandro with Fratti who “breaks” the attendance of the C.E.R. with this Historic Rally that promises well and for which the 911 SC has been well prepared.
A weekend that will therefore keep us glued to live timing to follow closely and feel part of the team both on and off the track, wishing them to be able to achieve results to add to their palmares, teams, drivers and cars.
