The weekend of the European GT4 just held on the Hungarian circuit of Budapest, the Hungaroring, was a semi-final because of the many duels in the top positions of the standings and Autorlando-Sport was present with the couple Ghezzi-Giovanelli in second place in the AM classification behind the Swiss Cayman Leutwiler (# 222). The atmosphere was warm and tense because of the stakes and as if that was not enough even the weather wanted to say its, messing up the strategies during the races.

On a quiet Friday the two free practice sessions and the qualifying, at 16:55, saw the car driven by Ghezzi-Giovanelli (# 76) gain a P5 class with Giuseppe and even a P1 with Alessandro who after the pole of Misano confirm his speed on the Hungarian circuit. The other car, led by Cerati-Fondi (# 75) both debut on this track, qualified their Porsche 997 in P10 (Q1) and P9 in Q2; Budapest is a very technical circuit and the condition of the track and the traffic did not allow them to go faster.

Saturday race 1 at 12:15 was dry with Ghezzi (# 76) that remains a little blocked by other cars in turn 1 but comes out unscathed taking immediately a step race; same thing for Cerati (# 75) that recovers some positions on the direct opponents but unfortunately on lap 9 spun and is forced to rebuild its own race from the bottom. Pit-window opens and a storm started which forces everyone to consider whether to keep the slicks tyre or change to the rain. The race direction sends the safety car to the track, the car (# 76) continues with the rain while the (# 75) mounts the wet tires. The rain will continue for the entire final half-hour and despite Giovanelli, who had taken the place of Ghezzi, will stop to mount the rain tires, the race has been stopped for adverse track conditions, the classification was taken at lap 18: P2 for Ghezzi-Giovanelli and P7 ° for Cerati-Fondi.

Rain was the protagonist also on race 2 because while the cars are about to line up on the grid, a storm threatens the circuit. Both Giovanelli (# 76) and Fondi (# 75) start with the rain as well as the whole grid. After the first wet laps seems the rain will stop but as a joke resumed just before the pit-window for change drivers. Both Ghezzi (# 76) and Cerati (# 75) are back on track with the rain while several cars wait a few more seconds in the pits to evaluate the eventual tyre change. Ghezzi went out of pit in front of his direct opponent but because of a contact spuns and gives him a position finishing third in class. The race will then end with the frozen positions behind the safety car due to a damaged car on the box straight. P3 of final class for Ghezzi-Giovanelli (# 76) and P7 for Cerati-Fondi (# 75) with the distances of the top positions of the AM classification that remain such.

The weekend was very positive and for the victory of the championship is still an open battle and we will know the names of the news AM drivers Championship only after the last two races in Nurburgring. Another important and very technical circuit where we are sure that our guys will give the best of them and the drivers are still hungry for points.
