In Ascoli Piceno there is the 57th edition of Coppa Paolino Teodori, which is valid as a race for the Italian Speed Mountain Championship and for the European Mountain Championship for this year.
At the start there are more than 220 cars, historic and modern, with Autorlando-Sport which starts with Marco Cristoforetti and the Porsche 997 GT3 R, very admired with the new graphics with the colors of the 908 from 1970s.
With the two qualifying manches on Saturday and the two manches of race with the sum of the times Marco takes confidence with the car and the typical hairpin turns of uphill races in view of the much more difficult home race next weekend, the Trento-Bondone.
At the end Marco finishes in the fourth position in the Italian group and in the fifth position in the European group GT, 33th overall, behind only to the specialists of uphill.
In the historic cars, at the start, there is also Daniele “Cicciopasticcio” Vittozzi with his Porsche 911S. with the sum of the times of the two manches of race on Sunday, he can reach the third step of the podium of Group 2.
All that remains is to wish a big good luck to Marco and to the friend and rival Beppe Ghezzi, who will be at the start of the Trento-Bondone after the great result obtained at Misano in the GT4 Series.
