Press release 15/2021 05.07.2021

Finally, after a year of absence, the Trento-Bondone race is back. Autorlando-Sport shows up with seven cars, ready to give a show.

The race, as usual, divides itself in two parts, due to the very unstable weather conditions, which brings more than half competitors to have to run in the wet, on a race path that does not forgive. Unfortunately Dario Cerati is one of the victims, crashing his Cayman GT4. Such a pity, seen his times during the free practices.

Always about modern cars, we have the two GT3-R, driven by Giuseppe Ghezzi and Dario Barucelli that, despite the impediment by the bad weather, were unable to rank high in the overall ranking but gave anyway a driving lesson to all competitors, finishing 1st  and 2nd in the GT class.

Let’s now move on to historic cars, where our drivers Daniele Vittozzi and Andrea Rizzi drove their Porsches, a 911 SC GR3 and a 911 SC GR4 respectively, to an excellent result, managing to avoid the strong storm that hit the route starting in the early afternoon, both winning their own class. Rizzi’s performance was particularly good, as he was in a very competitive category, taking home, together with his 1st place, a very good time of 12’18.31, which denotes, apart from the driver’s skill, the car’s excellent preparation.

Some comments from the drivers:

GHEZZI: “I had a great time and a lot of fun. It’s my home race and I’m happy to have confirmed 1st position even in the wet. “

RIZZI: “Great race and great team, very happy with your professionalism, with all the mechanics and of course with Orlando, a gentleman of other times!”

BARUCHELLI “Challenging race, given the extreme conditions. My first time on the GT3-R could have been easier if it hadn’t rained. Nonetheless, I am satisfied that I took it to the top and finished 2nd in the GT class. Congratulations to maestro Ghezzi.”

CERATI: “Perfect car, stunning in the wet. Too bad the mistake that unfortunately did not allow me to finish the race.”

So congratulations to the winners, the drivers and the organizers, always taking into account the difficulties imposed by the period in which we are all.
