Beppe Ghezzi and Alessandro Giovanelli gain another podium in the European GT4 Series. After a surprising endurance race composed of three mandatory pit stops in 3 hours the drivers of Autorlando Sport conquering a second place in AM class and 8th in GT4.
The race on the international circuit of Silverstone with the Porsche 997 GT4 of Autorlando Sport team took place in the same container of the famous British GT Championship.
53 cars at the start on Sunday at 12:52, UK time. The race of the Porsche 997 GT4 was proceeding normally when a contact in lap 35 with a Lamborghini GT3 is likely to compromise the whole race.
The team’s drivers do not give up and try to recover, ending the 3 hour in second place in AM class. Unfortunately, due to that contact the no.176 of Autorlando Sport suffers a penalty of 3 minutes and slipping in 3rd class position.
Now the drivers of Autorlando Sport are in 3rd position of championship and they still have ahead the 2 hours of SPA endurance next 10th of July, Hungaroring and Zandvoort.
Next appointment with Autorlando will be 24-25 of June at “Rally Ronde del Ticino” with a great return in the team of Orlando Redolfi: Glauco Solieri.
