Press release 39/2018 04.10.2018
On the famous Brianza circuit, built in the largest enclosed city park in Europe, this weekend will be the penultimate round of the SuperCUP trophy that will see the team led by Orlando Redolfi (whose headquarters are just a few miles from the track) go into the grid with the 911 GT4 (GT1 class) led by Alessandro Nervi (# 35) and also manage the 997 GT3 CUP (GT2 class) led by De Ambroggi-Visdomini.
In an autumn week-end with the summer heat behind the 5793m will see the almost 50 members fight each other until the last braking, a driving phase that always reveals great surprises at Monza, making the races very “tight” and uncertain until the checkered flag.
Autorlando-Sport brings the 911 GT4 of Alessandro Nervi at the top of the class standings and in second place in the absolute after the second place and the victory won at Vallelunga. Also the young Bergamasco driver is playing “at home” and certainly will not want to disappoint the home crowd and friends who will arrive at the racetrack ready to support him.
Under the same roof and inside the same box Autorlando-Sport also deploys the orange Porsche # 34 that for this occasion will not been driven by Max Pigoli but the couple, new entry in the SuperCUP trophy, composed by Alberto De Ambroggi and Adriano Visdomini. Both have already got to become familiar with the Stuttgart racecar and as for Alessandro also for them there are good intentions for the debut in the trophy on a “magic” track as it is Monza.
The weekend will also offer other very special duels and challenges as the Italian GT Championship, the TCR ITaly, the Mini Challange, and the Seat ST Cup will also be on track in the ACI Racing weekend.
The SuperCUP Trophy program includes two free practice sessions on Friday at 9:35 am and 1:35 pm with qualifying the same afternoon at 5:15 pm. Saturday is scheduled Race 1 at 4.05 pm while Sunday race two is held in the morning at 11 o’clock.
