A very good weekend for Autorlando sport in the fourth round of European 102 GT4 Championship at the Slovakiaring.
Giovanelli starts race 1 on Saturday gaining immediately the 3rd place overall and fighting for the second position. After the driver change, Ghezzi loses some position respect to the drivers pro but maintaining the distance to the AM and ending the race in 1st place in class.
Troubles at the start for Fondi-Cerati who find themselves in 28th place overall (a good strategy to avoid contact with car no. 44, which comes back on track zigzagged) and ending the race in 8° place in class AM.
In race 2 Ghezzi maintains the pro drivers race pace but at the driver change Giovanelli, for recover positions, goes out at the curve no. 6.
Fondi starts well but he passed by the disqualified KTM. Cerati is able to control the situation and gains a position in class thanks to the penalization for car no. 93.
Ghezzi is leader in class AM with 118, Mengozzi si in 4th position with 78 points, Giovanelli is in 10th position with 33 point and Fondi-Cerati are in 6th place with 68 point.
Next appointment for August 20 at Zandvoort.
