Always brilliant Orlando, who after the project of 2004 lines up now a Porsche 911 997 GT4 in the first race of the European Series with excellent results.
Giuseppe Ghezzi and Alessandro Giovanelli they feel good on the car of the Team Autorlando and since the qualifying expressed their potential in the AM class.
Race 1: Ghezzi starts very well against all the PRO and delivers the car to Giovanelli in second place, Alessandro manages very well the race but one lap from the end is rear-end by a Camaro that forced him to turn around and finish the race in 18th position overall and 5° class.
Race 2: Giovanelli obtains the 5° position at the start and both the drivers managed a perfect race ending 4° overall and first in class.
Now the next round of the European Series will be in Pau May 15 and the drivers are evaluating whether to continue in the European program, or think to an Italian program.
Great weekend also in Rovato for the driver of Autorlando Sport, Busseni Claudio, who with the Porsche Gr4 “Vezza” obtains an excellent position after long matches in the Brescia square.
Great weekend at Adria for Autorlando-Sport and Maurizio Fondi, with 997 GT3 R, engaged in the second round of the Italian Gran Turismo Cup.
Very uncertain weather that has faced Maurizio Fondi this weekend,
On Saturday afternoon for qualifying a drizzle had made slippery the asphalt of Adria, but no problem, since the second place on the grid.
Race 1: always at night to Saturday but on a dry track, and 20 minutes of great competition between Fondi and Valli, with continuous attacks of the Tuscan, unfortunately always closed by the BMW driver, to the finish, with a few tenths and then with a stunning second place.
Race 2: Sunday afternoon in the rain, and this is where Fondi has launched the attack on the seventh lap, passing in command, to enjoy the first position, under the checkered flag.
Next round will be in Misano Adriatico next 8-10 of May.
