The 68th edition of Trento-Bondone confirm to be a time trial full of emotions, unpredictable and all to be experienced.
Autorlando was at the start with three cars, a Porsche 911 SC (#279) entrusted to Cerati, and the two inevitable Porsche 997 GT3 R entrusted to the two home-drivers, Giuseppe Ghezzi (#52) and Marco Cristoforetti (#51).
From the practice on Saturday, the team from Bergamo made it clear that he would be present and fighting for the positions that matter; in fact, on Saturday when the two round of practice took place, the three drivers occupied the first positions of the class, Cerati second, Cristoforetti third and Ghezzi fourth. If Cerati could see the second place within reach thanks to the gaps with the pursuers, in the GT class the two 997 GT3 R were chasing the two Ferrari of Peruggini (#47) and Gaetani (#49) a few seconds ahead.
On Sunday there is the only one round and mistakes are not allowed. Cerati confirms what he had done on Saturday upholding the second place in his class. Ghezzi and Cristoforetti squeeze tires and engine up to the limit, the times are lowered by more than 10 seconds and they finish the race at 11 cents of posting for Marco, but positions didn’t change. Marco 3rd (10:34.62) and Beppe 4th (10:37.21) behind the duo Ferrari Peruggini (10:29.93) – Gaetani (10:34.62), honor to them.
The uphill of Trento is at this point a regular appointment for the Team and it arises a performing of all respect where the party and friendship atmosphere which you breathe mixes with the scent of fuel and the tension and the rage of the drivers which drive along these very famous 17.3 km.
An applause goes to our drivers, Cerati, Ghezzi, Cristoforetti and to the Team for having prepared the cars and the trip at their best.
