Ready for the third round of the GT4 European Championship Series on the famous Silverstone circuit, weekend characterized by some news about the race format.
First, the team will be present in the circuit from Friday, June 10, with a day in advance. The organization give the opportunity to the teams for a private test of one hour, that will allow to the drivers to take more confidence with the English track.
The format from the previous two rounds of Monza and Pau that consisted of two races, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, at Silverstone team and driver will be prepared to a long distance race of 3 hours.
After the excellent premise of race in Monza with the excellent 1st place in class in race 2, Giuseppe Ghezzi and Alessandro Giovanelli, are also ready for this round to battle their opponents with their Porsche 997 GT4.
Ghezzi and Giovanelli are still in 3rd class AM with 37 points, considering that the final standing will count only 5 events on six scheduled, the team and the driver can fight for the title win.
The weekend will see on Friday, June 10 a one-hour test session at 15:10.
The free practices are scheduled for Saturday 11 June at 09.30 and 10.12 as well as qualifications at 16:08 and 16:23.
The 3-hour race is scheduled for Sunday, June 12 at 12.50.
