Gruppo Peroni Race goes on stage this weekend at Misano circuit for Coppa Italia GT and for the 3rd round of 3H Endurance.
The Bossini family come back on track with their DS Aldo Malchiodi and they use the free practice on Friday, despite the rain, to re-take confidence with the car and track from the last race of Mugello.
Matteo and Giacomo obtain their time during the qualifying while Paolo gains an incredible 4° place overall behind two BMW and prototype much more powerful.
Race in night and Matteo with a perfect stint manages the car for the first hour in a perfect way, first in class e 3rd overall.
At the driver change, Matteo leaves the car to Giacomo and here the gear trouble starts. The safety car on the track gives a hand, “consuming” precious time of race at a low pace and Giacomo leaves for the last stint the car to Paolo. Mechanicals, at the driver change doing the miracle of replacing a component that usually takes longer time. Paolo can go back on track maintaining class leadership and for the remaining 3 laps is forced to use only the 3rd gear but ending the race in 5th place overall.
Next appointment for the 3H Endurance on the circuit of Imola on October 1.
Tarabini, in Coppa Italia GT, repeats the double win of Adria and Monza both in race 1 and in race 2 and he dominates for the all the weekend with pole and fastest lap.
News, the amend regulation as regard the score, with the attribution of points at the first 3 overall classified. Tarabini now is in second place with 30 point.
Next appointment with Coppa Italia GT is for September 10 at Vallelunga.
