Last appointment of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship from 3th to 6th December with ACI Rally Monza for an unprecedented sprint that will award the title of 2020 World Rally Champion on the Brianza circuit transformed for the occasion into a “rally theater”.
Autorlando-sport takes the prestigious opportunity to be present at a world event that is unique of its kind with the Porsche 997 R-GT Class. At the wheel a known name to Autorlando Sport which is that of Maurizio Rossi (he participated in the Monza Rally Show on a Mercedes 190 in 2016 and with the same car, won the absolute North Italy Trophy in 1987) and Giorgio Genovese. Crew that will share the starting platform with the titled WRC champions fighting for the title, Evans and Ogier on the Toyota Yaris WRC and Neuville and Tanak on the Hyundai i20 WRC.
Long and demanding program for the 95 crews admitted with the reconnaissance start with oad cars scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday start of the real rally with more than 500 km to go throught, 241 are special stages. Thursday 3th Shakedown and PS1 the Monza Legacy, Friday 4th at PS Junior and Roggia repeated twice and the PS Grand Prix, all within the circuit area, using the F1 circuit specially modified with variations and inversions, the historical ring “High Speed” and the communication paths of the park. Saturday 5th trespassing in Bergamo for the challenging Ps from Val Seriana to Valle Imagna with the sequence to be repeated twice by Selvino, Gerosa, Costa Valle Imagna and then back on the circuit for the PS Grand Prix.
Grand Final on Sunday with the PS Grand Prix again and a double pass on the new PS Serraglio.
An event that, unfortunately still behind with closed doors, will in any case be followed live by RAI SPORT channels.
