On the weekend before the Easter-week starts the competition season organized by the Peroni Race Group led by Sergio Peroni that will see on the 5,245km of the Mugello circuit, all the categories that for years crowd the Peroni weekends: the Clio CUP, Lotus CUP, to the Tricolor Prototypes Master, the Alfa Revival CUP, the Historic car championship, the 2h Endurance and the 911 RaceCUP..
It is in this last category that Adriano Visdomini will make his debut while during last year took to the same track in the SuperCUP context. The driver from Como told the microphones: “I am curious to get involved at Mugello for the first round of the Championship; in this first race I will run alone to see if I can manage the fifty minutes in solitary, I’m working a lot on physical preparation. This year I expect to have fun … obviously, if good results come I will be very happy! “. Autorlando-Sport will take care of the same 997GT3 CUP that this year is renewed in the livery now of a light blue compared to the orange that characterized it last year when Max Pigoli was driving.
However, Visdomini will not be alone in the box that he will share with Mario Marsella, who will take to the track aboard his 911 2.5s in the Historic championship car. For him a return to the championship after a 2017 that saw him as a protagonist paired with Dario Cerati aboard another car from Stuttgart, the 911 Gr.4.
The ups and downs and the long corners of the Tuscan track will put cars and riders to the test, and they will have to give their best to be able to excel on the opponents supported by the team who, having returned from Monza with a second place in the GT4 class of the Italian GT, prepared for the better the racing cars that will descend between Saturday and Sunday on the asphalt. The program includes free practice on Fridays and also on Saturdays for the historic carriages (10.10), while the official ones are scheduled at 10.40am for 911 and at 6.30pm for the car shows. All races on Sundays, at 13.30 60 minutes for the Italian Autostorica Championship, while 50 will be the minutes for the 911 that will start at 2.45pm.
