Great 5th place obtained by Dario Cerati at the Cesana-Sestriere, which took place this weekend around the little town of the same name in Piemonte despite the track was shorter because of a landslide and for the conditions of the road that were anything but ideal.
Dario Cerati presented himself at the start with the Porsche 911 SC Gr.4, a leap forward compared to the car used the previous week in Trentino and in front of the home crowd, remember to be from Turin, certainly did not want to disfigure.
On Saturday afternoon there are the two practice sessions and Dario improves his time of 9 seconds from practice 1 to practice 2 thanks also to the balance modification made by the team on the car after all the feelings of the driver after the first practice session. His position in the classification is a 5th place obtained in both practice sessions.
On Sunday the race took part in two rounds and the final time was the sum of the two times in this two rounds. The team and Dario set up everything very well and the result is a 5th place for the driver with a final time of 3’33” in the first round while a time of 3’34” in the second one because of a mistake. Then the driver thanked the mechanics and the team Autorlando-Sport and the car for their work; the car reacted really good to the input and behaved good along the track despite the bad conditions of it because of the recent landslide.
